Volunteer in China
A good story makes one think, an exceptional one changes ones life. I consider it is essential to be inspired as a child, to see so you can grow, to learn so you can improve yourself, to dream so you can accomplish.
I am an international students at the University of Worcester (UK) and I have 21 days left to raise £700 before to go to in Peru as a volunteer this summer, (to teach English to disadvantaged children, so they can have a chance to a better future).
I really NEED your help! Great, generous people are the ones who make this project real. A few helped me already but I still need YOU.
Become A Volunteer
I decided to volunteer with a Teaching English programme because I know how vital is to learn the most spoken language in the world. Knowing English, for the Peruvian children means they get to dream to a better job, when they grow-up, means a chance to actually have a career, means their one-way ticket away from the poverty of their villages.
Helping these children, going there and see the actual problems they encounter on a daily bases, means more than anyone can imagine. It is not only a dream, as it is a challenge and a life-changing event.
Volunteering, for me is an opportunity to make a difference when others around me prefer to stay ignorant. I am the kind of person that loves to help, loves to be 'there', right in the middle of the action. My biggest belief is not to let a day pass without giving, or learning something.
